How does technology play a role in fueling? It allows you to run your fleet more efficiently. CFN’s progressive technology includes Mag-Stripe cards, Internet capabilities and Windows driven software. You set the limits for your fleet. You determine the time of day and day of the week your drivers fuel. You set the number of transactions per day to ensure security of fuel consumption. You will have the peace of mind knowing that when your drivers swipe their United Fueling card they are not buying groceries, they are only filling their tanks as specified by the card parameters you define.

Save Money…’Cost Plus’ Wholesale Pricing

Your price is tied directly to the actual wholesale cost of the fuel delivered to each location on the network. In general the profit margin retailers receive for CFN transactions is less than the profit margin for a regular retail transactions. This saves you money. There is an important exception to this. Since your price is tied directly to the wholesale spot price if fuel prices spike suddenly the CFN price can be higher than retail street price because retailers usually lag a few days before changing prices. This, however, can also work to your favor when prices fall suddenly. There is no absolute relationship between retail street price and CFN pricing. Over the course of an average year you should see a per gallon savings on 60-70% of your transactions.

CFN offers Real Time information through the Internet. With a simple click of the mouse, you can determine where a driver has fueled minutes, even seconds, before. Immediate lock-out of cards is a simple keystroke. No more lag time. Daily reporting is as close as your keyboard. You can request E-mail or pager notification when specific cards are used to help track drivers. The choice is yours!

Flexible Control…You’re in the Driver Seat!

What if you’ve restricted a driver from fueling after five and you need to extend those hours? Just give United Fueling a call and the profile or card status will be updated before you even hang up the phone. You can even gain access to change your card profiles on-line yourself! There is no need to invalidate the card and wait for a re-issue. The card stays where you need it…in the driver’s hand. It is as easy to use as your ATM card. Just swipe it through and fuel!
